
The Human Resources Department of UPI maintains individual personnel files/records on all of its employees. These records contain and help maintain each employee’s employment history with UPI.
Current active employees may review their personnel records but may not remove them from the Human Resources Department. If you would like to review your personnel records, please contact the Human Resources Department to schedule an appointment. Employees may request copies of items from their files, but this is limited to only those items the employee has signed.
Employees may need to have their employment with UPI verified by various outside agencies (i.e. banks, mortgage companies, etc.). Verifications relating to employment must be directed to the Human Resources Department. The Human Resources Department will not give out information, but rather, verify the accuracy of the information given to the agency by the employee. Verification primarily includes information regarding dates of employment, employment status, position title and rate of pay.
